If you are contemplating hunting with us here are some reasons to strongly consider a Bombazi booking:
1. Many of the hunts offered in south Africa take place on leased land. The PH has no real reason to manage the animals or the property for the long-term benefit of the animals and the clients. We do and will continue to do it so everyone who books with us has the best chance of a successful and enjoyable hunt. (see Shockey video linked here)
2. We manage our herds for total quality. The number of hunters allowed on the reserve are limited each year to maintain our outstanding trophy animals. We selectively harvest only the mature bulls and under shoot the herds.
3. We have animals that will score high in the record books of almost all species. If that is a goal for you and you are willing to hunt hard, we will do our best to help you find that specific individual within that specie.
4. Our professional skinning and trophy preparation are part of your daily fee. The only additional charges are once we hand over your trophies to the taxidermist.

1. Bombazi is a family-owned business. The owners and management pride themselves in treating clients like family. We are committed to satisfying the expectations and needs of our customers. Whether planning an African hunt or taking a photo safari, clients can trust their booking will be managed professionally and efficiently. It matters to us that people visiting our game reserve are well cared for throughout their stay.
2. We can be contacted in the USA and South Africa. This accessibility allows potential clients to ask questions and learn more about our operation. Clients will talk directly to the owner or ranch manager. This personal connection puts people at ease especially if they have never traveled to Africa. Since we are not a big commercial company, we can customize your stay at Bombazi and make recommendations based on your interest or agenda. We take care of you from the moment you step off the plane in East London or arrive at the ranch.
3. Our pricing is fair but competitive. Our accommodation and trophy prices are listed on this website so there are no hidden costs or surprises at the end of your stay. All accommodations are inclusive. This includes transportation to and from the airport, all meals, allotted game drives, drinks* and laundry. A guide is also available on request to accompany clients if they choose to explore the reserve on foot. (*Alcohol included in moderation.)
4. Typically, we book only one group of clients at a time so your group will have exclusive access to the entire game reserve. That’s 4,000 hectors or around 10,000 acres for the clients to explore without the crowding of multiple vehicles or people at an animal sighting.
We welcome families and larger group events at Bombazi. There are plenty of options for the non-hunter to enjoy if they are accompanying a hunting party. Family reunions, weddings or company parties can be accommodated as well.
